NEW: Count and Sing in English, for kids

Just released by the publishers of the magazines Go English, English Now, Bien-dire and J'apprends l'anglais... Count and Sing in English.

Children will love learning to count in English with these specially selected traditional children’s songs. Each song has three versions: the first has full vocals and instrumentation, in the second version children can fill in the missing key words and the third is a sing along version. The accompanying booklet has lyrics and a visual glossary of key words in black and white line drawings which can be colored.

We gave a copy of the CD and booklet to our French blogger, Pascale, and here's what she had to say about it:

"Voulant l'essayer avant de l'offrir à ma nièce, je l'ai donc écouté vendredi dernier au petit-déjeuner et, bien que conçues spécialement pour les enfants, ces chansons aux rythmes entraînants m'ont donné la pêche pour la journée ! Les enfants peuvent utiliser ce guide d'apprentissage de plusieurs façons différentes. On peut l'écouter sur le chemin de l'école, en lisant, ou en coloriant le livret fourni avec le CD. On peut aussi l'utiliser en se prenant pour une mini star : je suis d'ailleurs sûre que ma nièce va adorer la version karaoké et s'empresser de l'essayer avec ses copines !"
